My Services and Rates

Investing in massage is an investment in your health. Take some time for yourself!

Swedish Massage.  The most common bodywork type, Swedish massage is a relaxation massage which uses long gliding motions to smooth the muscles, the motions being directed at returning blood toward the heart.  Other techniques such as kneading, tapping, bending, stretching and circular motion are also employed.  The result is an increase in blood oxygen, an increase in circulation and flexibility, and a reduction in the level of muscle toxins and tension. 60 minutes for $65.00

Deep Tissue Massage. This style of massage is used when deeper layers of muscle are the focus -- typically areas of muscle tension and knots.   Massage strokes are applied across the grain of the muscle (as opposed to the Swedish technique of long-grain strokes, although some Swedish techniques are also applied).  The results can be a reduction in inflammation and a release in chronic tension.  60 minutes for $65.00

Foot Reflexology.  This style of massage targets certain zones or points on the foot.  Light pressure is applied to certain reflex points, which stimulates the nervous system.  These points correspond to specific organs and areas of the body.  The result is a reduction of stress, an increase in endorphins and a feeling that your body is back in equilibrium.  Foot reflexology has been shown to help reduce tension headaches, back pain, and arthritic issues.  30 minutes for $35.00

Chair Massage.  A  30 minute chair massage is a perfect way to de-stress in the middle of a busy workday on your lunch break.  A great way to work tension out of your back and neck, hands and arms.  You'll return to the day refreshed and relaxed.  $1 per minute

Sessions for more or less time are available, just ask!

Sessions may be in your home or work or in my space.

My base rates are listed above.  I am often asked if a gratituity or tip is expected in addition to the base rate.  It is not.  Like other services, a gratituity  is based on the client/customer satisfaction with the experience.  I do gratefully accept gratuities as a thank you for services well done!
